Carla Rossi - Bellissima

Working with photography as both a critical tool and a performative stage, Rossi interrogates stereotype, visibility, and the objectification of the female body, particularly within the legacy of Italian television culture since the 1990s. Her work examines how femininity is learned, rehearsed, and displayed, revealing beauty not as a fixed ideal but as a system sustained by spectacle and repetition.

Carla Rossi (born 1999, Italy) is a Paris-based artist working between photography, art, and fashion. Her practice investigates how identity and femininity are constructed and performed within contemporary io image culture, treating photography as a stage where gestures, poses, and appearances are learned and repeated.
She has worked on projects with Prada, Missoni, New Yorker Magazine , Zeit Magazine , Vogue Italia, and has been profiled by Wall Paper Magazine, Zeit Magazine, and Bazaar Italia.
